Will be installing an MSD coil. Purchased the Accel 'adapter harness' to get the identical coil-side plug to retain the original connector and, thus, will cut and splice. The OEM coil wiring includes a green-with-yellow-stripe and one that appears to be gray. The FSM does not help to confirm whether or not one is power and the other ground....

Can anyone advise??

Thanks much.

Check for voltage at the connector with the ingition on. Should be able to identify which wires are what. HTH.

Yes, intended to do that, and did.... Found that 1) With power/key off, the gray wire goes to ground, and the green striped wire shows 9 mV...! 2) With ignition in on/run position, the green shows 6mV....?? Will check again, but..... can those readings be right?? - Did install plugs, wires and cap/rotor, but not new coil yet, and it runs fine...
