Anybody been over the Eisenhower Tunnel recently. Does it look like the snow will melt enough to run RedCone, just about 5 miles south? How much snow is up there?

Last Fri, there was 6" at Dillon at about 10am. What that translated to at altitude I don't know, though I "heard" the ski areas had a good amount of snow (over a foot) on the ground as of Saturday afternoon. The big question is how much of that stuck around :dunno:

I guy I work with was going to hike up ABasin this weekend for some skiing. He said they have around a foot up there.

Looks like they have quite a bit of show above the tree line.

We attempted Red Cone last weekend, got about 1 mile to 2 miles in and had to turn back because the snow was getting too bad. Actually saw two other cherokees up there.

I'm hearing it's clearing in this area due to the warmer temps. I haven't been able to go out and play as my exhaust is been bad. Trying to fix it tonight.
