Post photos of local trails or locations that may not be easily identified, If you know then keep it to yourself but feel free to speculate openly if you don't, maybe pm guesses backchannel or keep mysteries a mystery.... One shot per post (use the post numbers for reference).
I'll start with what I imagine might be a hard example.

Hummm, long arms - radius, red coils even, rancho shocks? - and that widee square rockrail - junky enough looking? and light colored - possibly.... narrowed it to two....they were both running simular tread though.... spitting that bottom leaf a little.... Ah but wait - does look like a 97+ brake line... the bottom doesn't look that junky I guess and I don't think the other one had red coils though I'm going with the brake line.
Final answer is this rig right here, with you spotting (another trail for the rest to guess)

As for Dr Moab,
post #12 Looks like one of the west desert outings I missed but I don't know exactly where. I do know you visited the newfies on one excursion...great looking trail though.
post #13 Pretty sure your in the south of I-70 half of the Swell and that I could find the trail on a map, I see a feint but particular giveaway on the horizon.
Good stuff.
Keep them coming!

From memory, The top layer is a dark red conglomerate, I slipped and fell on it's marble like remains, wich had broken off and fallen below a cliff, and confirmed it's composition :D, the light color is the entrada layer (from one of kelsey's books) but looks and acts very much like flowstone at this particular location and is supposed to be pretty interesting to watch during a rainstorm. It lacks the colorful layered bands of chinle stuff. Most of it in the area (even either side of that pic) is cliffed up nice and square like normal sandstone. (Kelsey speculates somewhat on what kind of sediments got mixed in during formation of the entrada layer here)
It can be found within your rational haircase restaurante monty went! We should go see it soon!

Been awhile since I ran Rusty Nail, so I was a little iffy on that one. No on Robber's Roost, but I swear I've been at that spot, so I have my trail names confused. Ends in mountain, I should know it, but I'm drawing a blank on it. It's where Craig Stumph took the monster trucks for that video shoot on Hammer Down... can I claim 2 out of 3? :D
