My stinkin computer power cable just broke (laptop) and so I'll be without computer/internet until it's replaced. 3 mins to go...I'll only be on my BlackJack, and maybe work computer. :D

Gateway MX6421. The wire pulled apart where it goes into the adaptor.

Well, I tried cutting it apart (after ordering a new one through my Best Buy service plan) to jury rig something, got nowhere. I didn't know the braid just under the skin of the wire was for power. I thought it was just for support like most of the bigger wires and cables at work. So I cut it off to make it easier to work with. But I just got the new charger (universal dealy) and it works. Yay! I have my computer again!
