1" heim's or jonny joints

well just like the title says if I were to build my own arms can I use 1" hiems with high-misalignment spacers instead of these jonny joints??? I don't see many people using hiems ....how come???:gee:

For what?Heims will be noisy and harsh on any frame side mounting points.

For a strictly offroad rig,heims would be good. look at ballastic fabrications new forged joint, nice stuff and only 37.99.

i have the Rock Krawler long arms with their joints and they are ok - i have had good luck with johnnies on the road but man the new ballistics are sick and are at a great price point and easily rebuildable
