i drive around 45-50 there is a skip (truck bucks) :flamemad: when going 60 it is a slight skip you can feel it lightly i replaced cap,rotor,wires,plugs,fuel pump,fuel filter,tps switch:bawl: i was told it could be a cranck sensor?? or a MAP sensor any input would help me thanks:rolleyes:

Check your engine and tranny mounts.

crankshaft position sensor... mine was doing the same thing. later will the jeep will begin stalling/shutting off while running.
i replaced it and don't have the skip/buck or shut off problem anymore.

Just wondering, your username is kind of open ended. Does it mean Stu's Jeep's doing something, going somewhere? Or does it refer to a part.. Stu's Jeep's crank sensor?
The sensor is on the trans bellhousing. Left side, top.

i used too own:) 3 jeeps now i am down to 1 :cry: i check the bell housing could not find it mine is a 5sp with a 4.0

Keep looking. The connector is at the back of the valve cover by the ground strapped head bolt.
