I'm watching some of the clips on youtube that are embedded in the story and I'm already pissed.
The epitome of the worst liberal you can imagine. No offense meant to any here, but this nut is off the deep end.

Haha, funny. Too bad I missed it.
I think people who are extreme in anything is really annoying whether it be religion, environment, war etc. Life is about shades of gray.

I just read about this douchebag. It makes you wonder how someone like that is still alive. Most people I know would have knocked him on his ass a long time ago.

You've never been to the bay area have you?
Damn near everyone is like that over there, maybe not as extreme though.

I didn't see the show but his address was posted on SF Craigslist Rants and Raves. The address posted is four streets over from my house; I didn't know I lived in a "tony" neighborhood and sure wish I could afford $40K per year in tuition for my daughters. Maybe I should park one of my XJs there.

I was just north of San Fran for about 8 months this past year and it has it good parts and bad parts. In the end though even through the amazing state parks and outdoor activites that California has to offer I could never live there. Way to liberal for me.

I lived in Santa Cruz and San Mateo for most of the 90s. Some parts of the bay area are really bad for this kind of crap. To be fair though this guy is not so much a representative of that as he is of elitist retards everywhere, the same people are found in NYC, Boston, and most of the other left-wing enclaves.

Another reason to hate California for me. If they didn't have so many bad ass trails i would want to blow it up! :D J/K but i don't really care for the place!

It really depends where you go. I've come across more rude people living in TN for 2.5yrs than I ever did living in SoCal for 18yrs. Idk if its because I'm Hispanic and I probably fit in better in CA.

speaking of San Fran, does anybody here think that mayor Gavin Newsom isn't just like this guy

I like looking at pictures of those trails but i would just ride along most likely. I know there are some parts out there that aren't bad but LA and San Fran are 2 cities i don't ever want to go unless i am getting paid to go there!

I watched the whole thing on Youtube this morning. His kids should be taken from him. Then again so should the other family's for not caring that their 17 year old son weighs 280LBS.

X2 on diagnosing the nose in the clouds syndrom.
You get all types in this world. There are folks that are down home and get along with everyone, folks that only get along with their percieved "Class", and those that have their nose so far in the ozone that they can't relate. I see his wifes attitude as being compatable with his. She is well educated and seems worldly. If he wants to live in CA instead of the Midwest because our snobs aren't up to his standards, who am I to deny him :D
It really depends where you go. I've come across more rude people living in TN for 2.5yrs than I ever did living in SoCal for 18yrs. Idk if its because I'm Hispanic and I probably fit in better in CA. We have a fellow from TN who tells me that WI is the worse place to live. He is constantly telling me how we don't wave, we give him the finger, and just generally rude. I tell him that he doesn't like it, he can just go back to TN :D
Edit: Just about everyone has different ideas on what is the "proper" way to raise your kids. Some folks push their kids, some folks have a more relaxed vision of their children's future. Hell, some folks don't even name their kid until it can decide it's own name!

yeah she is almost as bad, just in a different way
like when she said her kids are incompatible with her personality and so she minimizes contact with them... wtf
