steering box and pump?????

I have a 96' XJ and the pump and box are extremly worn out. I have a complete pump and box off a 96 grand cherokee with the 5.2 motor. my question is will this box and pump swap over and are there any benifits to a grand cherokee set up . Just eye balling the box and pump look the same.
Any input would be great
