Highbeams wont turn off

i cant get my high beams to turn off even with the ignition off... the headlight switch will turn off the regular lights and the high beam switch just makes them a bit brighter for a sec then back to normal. I have daytime running lights which are low voltage high beams. what is most likely the problem DRL module or the high beam switch ?

If it was the hi beam switch, the lights should still go off with the key.

I would shoot for the DRL system & expand from there.

A hammer will usually turn them off if the switch wont.
