I ran into a guy yesterday that is sitting on a xj 44 housing, the parts I saw were a housing loaded break backer plates, no drums, and passinger side axle, he claims he has all the stuff, and needs it gone, if there is anyone looking or interested, let me know, it was pulled from the 87 xj due to a pinion bearing failure, and was replaced with a dana35, and keep in mind its in Idaho Falls.

You could PM him and find out. :dunno: Who wants to wheel it stock anyway? It deserves a locker, lower gears and new seals and bearings. Maybe even a disk brake conversion if the money lasts.

mat, you talking to me or the hijacker. I told the guy he could probably get 100 to 150 out of it, but that was when he was telling me it was all there, and it could be, just wasn't where I was looking. and at this point if its not there, just make the thing go away

I know where you can get a D44 housing out of an old waggy for free.
It has the passenger side drop, and low pinion.
