Alright, so the DD is starting to leak...a lot(white spots are oven cleaner to try and remove the oil spots).

I just replaced the Rear Main Seal and Oil Pan Gasket. It's a '91 Laredo about to hit 200k...so it's just a little bit older :D. I think the power steering box needs replaced, as it has a dead "kink" in it when it's colder out. I'm trying to get this tracked down and fixed ASAP. Got enough going on with trying to get the Juggy done. Now on to some pics...
I noticed this line was broken, not sure what it does....as well you can kind of see i've got some oil in the air filter...

As well, my blowby valve isn't connected...I know I need to deal with that.

As well, noticed I need to get this fixed....

Any other ideas what I could/need to do?

The blowby into the air filter might be fixed by repairing the vacuum lines. That's were I would start.
I would then get a couple of cans of foamy engine degreaser.
Cover the idle air contol valve, the throttle boby position sensor, and the disributor.
Spray everything else - top to bottom, and back again.
Power wash the engine - so that there's no oil or grease on it anywhere.
Drive it for a day or two and then look for the source of fresh oil leaks.

Yeah I'm planning on doing that here soon. Going to scrub the engine down good. Trying to overhaul it somewhat once it hits 200k. Want this thing to last a WHILE :D

If you really want to isolate the source of the leak do the above steps then sprinkle talcum/baby powder on the engine after its dry.Just be careful where you sprinkle it.Any oil leaks will show up in the powder with a nice trail to follow right to the source. Its a little messy but works really good and you can wash off the powder afterwards.

something i heard is that they put some special stuff in oil now? not sure if its true or not but if you have a black light you can trace down oil leaks...

Think I'm just gonna rip the one out of my 98 and throw it all in there, since I'll be going full hydro...
Bah...having a DD is great...until you have to do mounds of work on it...

Well, got some things fixed. I went ahead and made an inline oil collector while I was at it...

As well found a line at the junkyard and threw that in...fixing this vacuum line.

Then quickly fixed this, thus fixing another vacuum leak.

I'm going to replace the valve cover gasket and clean out the CCV valves fully when I hit the 200k mark and do my next oil change.
Buuuut, I think the real culprit is my steering box...

Looks a little leaky ya think? :D Sooo I'm going to take the steering box out of my '98 and throw it in this one. That should definately clean up most of my leaking problems.

Check the hoses and fittings?

You can pour gasoline on the oil spots and it takes it right up. Just don't let you neighbors see ya. LOL

I'm pretty sure my steering box is on its way out. Its got a deadspot kink sort of thing going on in it. I figure I have no better use for the one in my '98 anyways. So it will give me a chance to replace hoses, etc. while im at it.

Be careful when fixing all those leaks. Once your jeep stops leaking it'll stop running.
