up country shock question

I have an '01 with the Up Country off road package, which supposedly adds 2" of lift. Want to replace the shocks with some Rough Country ones, I'm assuming that I need the ones for 2" lift. Just looking for a sanity check.

upcountry gives only 1" of lift. and when i replaced my shocks, i just used stock length ones. worked fine for me.

1" over regular suspension+8 years old=probably settled to normal suspension height when new

A shock with two inches more travel will give you more drop. If that maters to you. But you MAYBE getting into taller bump stops and/or longer brake line?
Else the UC package in the 01 did come with a bit stiffer shock or so they say.

not looking for more drop, but did not what to bottom the shocks out either.
