how do you disconnect the clutch line at the connection before the line enters the bell housing. thanks in advance.

yes, just make sure u use good wrenches or flarenut wrenches if u have them.

what year? I don't think the external slaves have a replaceable line.

she's a 91 with an ax 15. the slave and throwout bearing are one unit mounted on the input shaft of the trannie.

X2 on using flare nut wrenches. IIRC, the slave takes a 1/4" wrench, the smallest in a set.

There is a plastic ring on one side of the line and you force that into the other line and it should come apart. I say should because mine didn't but try twisting it back and forth first. I hear the o-rings get dry and stick. I cant remember but you might need to have an a/c or fuel line disconnect set. It goes inside and release the tab on the line so it will come apart.:bunny:
