Con-Ferr roof rack is awsome. I hate to sell it but im in need of cash and its just sitting here doing nothing. Its well made and it even holds the weight of me (185lbs.)+my spare tire. First 200 takes it. Thnx for looking and any questions let me know.

Hey gang,

After running around for a few days with the rack on, I have decided it is not what I want. Not sure what I want, but I know it's not a roof rack.

SO this is back up for sale. I have cleaned it up a little and sprayed a fesh coat of paint on it.

I will take pics tomorrow.

Same price $200, pick-up only.

Just so everyone knows.... he only paid 150 for this rack! i thought i was helping out a friend so i agree to the price b/c it needed work. I will admit Robert, this does make me upset. Atleast sell it off the boards and not in the damn same thread.

WTF!!!! Why should it piss you off? I was not going to charge anyone $200 for that rack because it is not worth it. I kept it in the same thread because folks have seen it and there was interest. I kept the price listed the same so I could give a "deal" like you did. I had no intention of flipping the to make any $$$.

Yes, I paid $150 for it. Yes, that's exactly what I will sell it for.

The reason I decided to sell it is because I do not like the way it looks on my XJ. It's a personal preference. The frame is soild, it has a wood floor, and mounts to the rain rails (gutters).

I will start another thread since you this is yours. Sorry to piss you off, but I don't think you have the right get pissed....

Thank you for clearing this up and explaining what you were up to. Sorry it pissed me off but at that moment on just reading what you wrote, it sounded like you were going to sell it for the 200. I know your a realy cool guy and wouldnt do that to another XJ brother. Good luck with the sale!! i miss the rack already lol.

I bought that Confer roof rack. After running around with it for a couple of days and staring at it for hours, I have decided I do not want it after all.

If you are interested, let me know. I will post it back for sale tomorrow, same price $200. I will let you have it for $175, that's what I paid.

IMO, Robert simply reposted the rack for what it was already posted for. He never took anyones money so whats the big deal? We shouldnt be questioning anyones integrity. So what if there was confusion on the price, You thought you were paying $200! After all he cleaned it up and repainted it so right off the bat it in better shape than it was before. I am picking it up on Sat. for an agreed upon price. I am getting a great deal and it would have been a great deal at $175 or at $200!

Bottom Line.....LAY OFF

This issue was already resolved, there was no need to bring it back up!
