I have the hood off right now because the right hinge is locked up with rust. I've used lots of pb on it, still stuck. Any ideas, and I'm too cheap to get one for $15 on ebay. Thanks, Buz

Take the hinge off and submerge it in a bucket of oil for several days.
Heat it with a torch (a $13 Propane Plumbers Torch will work also) to free it up.
Once you get it moving, work it back and forth to free it up and wear away the rust, get it well lubed in the joint.
OR give up and spend the $15.

I fixed it by drilling out the big rivet in the hinge and replacing it with a bolt, some washers, and a nut. Topped it off with a tack weld to keep the nut at the correct tightness. It took 1/2 an hour and I didn't have to pay 15 bucks and wait a week to get the part. Repainted the hood while i had it off too!
