Although, if you think that $550 is a fair price, what do you care that someone is trying to resell it for more? Think of it this way - you are getting a lot more eyes to see your add and help you sell it.

The thing is, its not even off my jeep yet! How is he going to sell it? Makes no sense...
I would like to see the lift go to someone who would really use it though, not a reseller. I should be selling it for $850 then, right? Wrong, It's not worth $850...

I am trying to contact the seller, but as you can see, its email only.

What I am trying to do is prevent someone from getting ripped off, I have not made any for sure deals to sell the lift to anyone, so how can someone sell something they do not own? That belongs to me!

I say try to get him to respond, then mess around with him a bit. Too funny.

I would keep a close eye on my rig though.

I see this happen regularly.. and have had it tried on me for a laptop. "Person" finds some erroneous ad, copies it, and uses it too make a deal with someone, then they jack 'em for the money.

Then again it could be some tard thinking he's buying yours and reselling. If so who cares, if you do care then you should sell it at their posted price. =P

Once they got it sold for $850, they'd probably try to buy yours for $550... then just stall their buyer for time. http://www.slicky.net/smilies/dunno.gif

Well, All it would take is a few hours and I would get it all off.
Any buyer that has been interested so far understands that I would have to take it off, I've told all potential buyers that if they are seriously interested to give me a days notice.

I am now more so than ever!

if someone else is going to try to make a buck off your crap why care?

Sell it for what you want to get for it, after that you can say you got what you wanted for it, and let it go.

If it is yours you could have a friend send that guy an e-mail say'in I will buy it for $900! Then once you sell it to him get your friend to send a "Just Kidding" e-mail!

Some one did that to a Jeep I was selling on Ebay once. They took all of the pics I had on ebay and made a craigslist ad. I think it's a scam just to get your email address so they can send you a bunch of spam.

Looks like he was trying to rip someone one off using my kit that they never had.

To letterman and jeepfreak21, I wasn't so much concerned about him selling it a higher price, just mad that someone was trying to use my kit that they don't have to rip someone off. To bad he backed out and never called!

I've been lurking around, mostly riding my bike and trying to keep up with my twins.

Yes I did get my number two XJ smogged (posted on the OEM board), now I just have to R&R the front axle and add some lift. Hopefully be done by late spring.

BTW, I traded it for some shafts, not like I got any $$ for it. :D

Glad to see you back around Chuck. Did I see you at Herndon Ave. & Fresno Ave. a while back?
