I'll be heading down with Mark (Begster) and Adam (reelbigdundy87) Thursday at some time.

Probably won't get down until the evening.

Something to consider here is we will only be allowed to wheel on the comp course area on Thursday and Sunday. So the black/red group will probably be spending a good part of the day Thursday doing some stupid things in the comp course area. If you have any desire to try any of this out, plan on wheeling one of those two days.

i would like to come down on thursday so i can wheel the park friday and sat, i had enough of the comp course last time.

same here, I'd love to go, but there's a bunch left to be done on the Jeep between now and then. Nevermind the actual cost of going... I'll do my best though, don't you fear!!

I've got "a bunch" to do as well. Yet we're still going with (obviously the preference) or without it.
... If I can make it I'll probably try to head down Wednesday as well.

Not a problem at all man. I'll let you know what time we plan on leaving and all that as the date gets closer.

If I go, I'll probably join the Billy/Mark/Colin/whoever else convoy...XJ convoys are always awesome :D With any luck, mine will be on the road and chuggin right along... then again, I can always tow. but that's not nearly as badass or as fun

Thats correct, the comp course will be closed to us on Friday and Saturday for RCROCS, but the rest of the park will be open the entire time.

You gotta make it... with the sawzall not far from my jeep, you might need to be my chauffeur :D IF I can get mine together I'll be more than happy to go. But like ya say, $$$ will be tight.

You think I can wait that long with the sawzall being that accessible? c'monnn.

I mean that is a valid point, definitely. But at the same time, I'd rather just do everything in one shot and have it be .... done? Who am I kidding. But, at least that "phase" will be "completed"... :D

I don't know that it's worth it to me to wait just be be able to make it to NACfest. I mean, between work and the cost of going and everything else... I guess it's a coin toss type deal. We'll see.

If you come, I will pick you up at the train station along the way or in Edison (I can always head to my parents house a day early). That way you can still fly into nyc.

Its on the calender. A lot of it will be contingent on work, but I already submitted a travel agenda appending to dates, so there's a good chance.

Yeah, 6-8 is pretty accurate for a normal rig. My first year driving down took me 13hrs straight of driving, only stopping for gas (4 times I think?) and a quick bite to eat. That was with 30" tires and 4.88 gearing though, top speed of 55mph going downhill. :laugh3:

Last time I drove down I think it took me about 7.5 hrs if I'm remembering correctly? Not a bad drive. I was heading down from here in Claremont.
