Just heard that Col. Jeff Cooper "The Gunner's Guru" passed away today.

We'll miss you, sir. Thank you for your contributions to the shooters' world.

Wow, sorry to hear that! My first purchase after getting my CW permit at 18 (well, Dad had to do the paperwork for me) was a Colt Gold Cup due in large part to Jeff's writing. I'm sure there are no double action mouse guns in heaven ;-)

Yes, the fine old fellow has gone on to his rest. Not only did he do
much for the shooting community, he is also such a great example of
someone living life to the fullest. His is a name that will continue
to invoke respect for many, many years to come.
