YJ dana 30 into an XJ?

Is it a direct swap? Are they the same width? I'm unsure of the year of the YJ but it's a 98 XJ.

Leaf springs on the YJ. So you need to weld on new coil spring perches.

not a direct bolt in. YJ is leaf sprung and the XJ is coil sprung. with all of the brackets you would need to weld on you're better off getting a dana 30 from another XJ. the YJ also has a disconnect axle and the 98 XJ should not
