Handbrake button popped off

So I have the button and the spring but I can’t see how it goes back together. Does anybody know how to put it back together or have a diagram of the handbrake assembly? I would appreciate any help here.

There was a recall for this problem but its for 94-96 XJs, and mine is a 93

There should be a thread on this in the archives from a couple years ago. Common problem and there were several fixes given.
