Class III trailer hitches are rated for 5000 #'s, IIRC. If you are in a bad stuck you won't want to use it anyway.
yes because ive always had jeeps with frames before this one, this is my first xj and other parts will cross over. :doh:

the front suspension parts and drivetrain stuff will cross over, but that's about it. The TJ hitches mount a bit differently and the dimensions are far too different to work.
