Well, I'm going to be getting my Jeep ready for the move to Oklahoma this summer. This is what i have so far as for things i would like to do and need to do to make it road worthy again, she's been sitting for the better part of a year, driven around the parking lot two or three times a month.

First off I have a 1989 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4 door 4.0l 4x4

This is what i need to do, its a long list
1 Oil Change and flush with a quart diesel.
2 Vacuum Lines
3 Switch Tires From Parts Jeep - 2 good Michelin MTX to replace my bald ones.
4 Get Brakes Inspected
5 Replace and Flush Power Steering Fluid and the Hose that Leaks
6 Transmission Filter and Flush
7 Radiator Flush and Fill - probably looking for some kind of snake oil to cool better.
8 New Cap and Rotor - I think it was replaced by the previous owner but i have no record of it.
9 New Spark Plugs
10 Air Filter
11 Tag Light
12 update registration and tags, insurance
13 New or rebuilt alternator -- What amperage would be good for an XJ with a light bar and a winch later on down the road?
14 Windsheild Wipers
15 Trailor Lighting Kit
16 Fuel Pressure Regulator

and the optional
Front left turn signal cover, instead of clear orange tape
Valve Cover Gasket
my buddy craigs wheels - he wants to trade
CB-Radio setup with external PA
Light bar
Shocks
Winsheild
Cold Air Intake
Luggage Bars - Stock mine broke off when my buddy chained a table to them...
Rooftop Container for clothes and such on the trip.
Open cooling system conversion
fix the passenger window - stuck i nthe up position no motor sounds.

Well thats it, my checklist for the next 6 months, and hopefully a lift might fit in there some time. Let me know if there is anything anyone can think of to check before the trip these are just the things i can think of to check off the top of my head.
