Warrior Products Bumper: Winch addon

So right now i have a warrior products front bumper on my XJ, I dont think it was ment to ever hold a winch on it, but i would like to add one in the future.

How hard (or impossible) would it be to modify this to accept a winch?

How does it mount?

IIRC, it uses the stock 3 holes; assuming that, if you put a winch on that, and it will rip the front of your frame out.

Yes it is complete bolt on bumper. And i ruined one of the nuts in there so it only has 5 out of 6....
Time to get out the welder perhaps? The actual bumper is pretty strong, but i would be very worried about its attatchment.

But i love my grill gaurd!!!
Anyways, this mod wont be taking place anytime soon, so i guess i might just upgrade to a better bumper.
I only baught the warrior one because it was dirt cheap...

I don't know if you could modify it enough, you'd have to extend the bumper a bit to keep the winch from going through the grill. Try talking to AJs Offroad. He might be able to make you a custom bumper that looks like your current bumper but has a strong winch mount.
