Per NAXJA Bylaws:

Section 3: Required Equipment for Event Participation
NAXJA VERY HIGHLY recommends that all event participants have a CB Radio.
NAXJA requires all listed items to be present, and available for use, for a vehicle to be permitted to participate in a event. Participants are expected to stow equipment and all other items within their vehicle in a safe manner, conscious of the effects of OHV use and possible shifting of items.
NAXJA Safety Inspectors will use this list for safety inspections prior to any event. The Safety Inspector has final say in approval or rejection of any vehicle for event participation and may at anytime defer to a second event or club officer for additional ruling.
NAXJA expects each event participant to carry insurance and registration sufficient to meet the legal requirements of their vehicle state of residence and for the roads and trails traveled for the event. NAXJA is not responsible for assuring an entrant's vehicle is legal for the roads and trails traveled in the event.

If you can get the vehicle lifted off a tire in a safe manner, i believe that will work, but i'll let an official make the calls....

I dont know what the strength of my recovery strap is. I cant remember if the packaging said 7,000 or 17,000. Its about 2 inches wide, and has loops on either end. I've used it to pull people out of mud, off of ice, and pulled my buddy out of the quarry ice when the ice broke under his truck! ;)

Is this one ok, or do I need to get a new one?

No that montero is not an acceptable tow strap! :D but anyways if it is a 2"X20 or 30 strap you should be alright. as long as there are no hooks on it!

So I fell sort and forgot aboot the flag, and am back at school... I am wondering, could I mount the flag to the top of my CB antenna?? Its a mag mount square in center of the roof and is approx. 24in tall.... Any ideas? Otherwise I gotta get one from walmart and I dunno where to put it...

Pick one up from Walmart with a couple of self tapping screws then just mount them to your bumper in the back or the front!

Your best bet would probably be to hit WalMart. You can make to work. Make sure it has the metal bracket at the base of the pole. Sometimes they pull off when you pull them out of the PVC tube they sell them out of.

the best part is that they are only 5 bucks so if you break it they are cheap to replace!

I have a plastic window flag that I picked up at The Badlands last time I went and you can use it. I'll have a full size flag this time.

I'll have extra flags to loan out as long as I remember to bring them.

the badlands requirements are that the flag is above the roof line. I've gone as far as zipp tied mine to the cage and I was good.
