That's pretty cool.
Unfortunately, I can barely get the grass mowed.

Neato ! I got one of those lil jeeps for my daughter.. mine was free - no battery. Well, I had this lil honda car battery sitting around, and I shoved it under the hood.. stripped the wires and twisted them on the battery posts. And it works great ! :) One thing I noticed is that it dosent have good traction - it'd get stuck even over a lil bump or something. Those plastic wheels dont cut it. I was trying to think of a way to add traction to those plastic wheels... any ideas ?

What sort of terrain, and how much work are you willing to do?

my daughter off roads out north of her dwelling, stays off the rock patio, explores around the apple tree, the land is rich with grass that grows tall during the raining season. The ground is uneven in certain spots - due to a hairy beast that ravaged the ground in search of who knows what, construction to repair has taken place of such damaged areas - quality of repair was poor and left the land not so perfect, also all repairs have not been completed.......
I'd like to do something easy, cheap, quick.. screw something on the plastic wheels ??

You can take a bicycle outside tire and cut off the "bead" and it will go around the plasctic tires. You can then use screws or industrial glue to hold it in place. You can get more ideas at www.Powerwheels.com tons of info there. Jeff
