Not sure it that's enough to bypass any copyright issues. Anyway, Karl (Los Lobos) and I headed up the Molalla Forest Rd again. The snow conditions varied quite a bit, but 4-5 lbs of pressure did the trick.

We camped near Bagby Hot springs last night, and Dustin (TORX) met us in the morning.

We made it closer to Olallie lake this time, but the sun wasn't helping the snow conditions at all so we turned back. We decided to head back over to the Molalla Forest rd. I need a little winch help, but Dustin's new KM2s did great.

All in all a good trip.

Looks like a good run, next time you guys head out let me know, its been too long since I used my jeep for anything other than the downtown portland runner so I can actually fit when I parallel park.

It was a long day, but it was worth it. I don't think we could have asked for better weather.

A two cot tent, propane heat, lots of dog food, human food, 10+ gallons of gas, BF chainsaw, cold weather gear, and some other miscellaneous stuff. You have to be prepared for declining conditions in that kind of snow pack. The weather turned out excellent with an amazing star show. There was a car that didn't go well prepared that is stuck about a mile out of the parking lot. Then as we were headed down we found out one of the vehicles we passed had spent the night up there. We talked to some fellas headed up with some guy on the back of his jeep saying he walked out of there in the middle of the night and his GF was still with the vehicle on a side road. I know this area pretty well and Ken and I didn't see any tire tracks on our way down nor was there any side road. He basically didn't know where he was and luckily everyone made it out safely.

Go prepared!
