Picked this up for a shop beater but just picked up another cherokee so i need to clean my lot off a little.
Before I part it I thought I'd see if anyone was interested in a beater. note, it does have 260K miles on it, but is still driven daily. Runs GREAT!
Has a Salvaged Title after Deer ran into the passenger side. there are plenty of dents, scratches and dings in it that are Free of charge, but the good parts are what I'm charging for.
The good:
- I-6 4.0 well broken in, but runs great.
- AW4 Tranny, shifts solid, locks up strong, pulls hard Crystal clear fluid.
- Np231 T-case, no slapping from Chain, no complaints.
- D30 front has U-joint Shafts (and ABS)
- 3.5" RE Lift
- 31" Mt's with crager street locks (new)
- Newer Radiator and Alternator, Seems like a water pump too, but honestly don't recall 100%
- Carolina Rock Shop Bumpers front and rear. Front has two d ring hook ups, Rear has Receiver for hitch or tow point. Nice freakin bumpers. I actually got some feeling of vindication when I saw that the deer bounced off the bumper crushing the rear 1/4 panel but not so much as a scratch in the bumper.
-Runs and Drives great, especially for a 15 y/o 260K ZJ.
The Bad:
-Bashed in doors on Pasenger side don't work, no Glass in Passenger front door, but custom Duck taped polyvinyl to protect from the weather http://www.nc4x4.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
-Power Steering pump is getting tired and has a small leak on none pressure side of system somewhere.
- It has a D35 in the rear.
- Burns about a quart of oil every 1000 miles or so due to worn Valve stem seals.
jeep runs great and interior is in nice shape. roll up windows and heater works like a champ. Could be a great dd. Will trade for guns or cherokee stuff...let me know.
