so im installing my cb and that was easy, but than i got to the antenna i got it mounted on the hood. the coax cable on the antenna end has two cables coming off of it both with spade connectors does one of them ground to the body or do they both connect to the antenna.

The wire in the middle of the coax is the positive that connects to the antenna. The negative wire is the shielding wire that surrounds the positive wire - the negative wire goes to a good ground near the antenna.

It's another style Coax. That's why additional springs and such for the antenna come with O-connectors. (Don't know the technical name)
