I plan on going to Woolies this Saturday. I want to get there around 8a-9am. The weather looks like it is going to be dry until then so the conditions should be great. Post up and lets get a group down there.

That's cool, I understand. I just need to get this thing out on the trails. I feel like all I have been doing is buying and fixing, but no wheeling.

atleast he's able to get out and use his junk...

wish i could more often, but i built a jeep that's not yet street legal, and i don't have a trailor or tow rig, so i'm dependent on others to get my jeep to the trails...

Well, I don't get out enough, but the weather is going to be dry and my wife is going to some Wizard of Oz musical with her mom so I really need to take advantage of it.

You are passing up the Wizard Of Oz for wheeling??? You need to get your priorities straight.

here's the pics from today...had a great time. Only bad parts were me getting stuck in a mud hole for a bit (matt yanked me out)...and matt got a flat tire. Well more like a sliced tire. Time for some bumpstops buddy!

couldnt ask for a nicer day, we had our windows down the whole time (^except then ha, trying to keep the mud outside). ground was nice and tacky, lots of traction. just a few small muddy areas.

Looks like you guys had a great time!! Sorry I missed it.

That sucks about your tire Matt. Did a rock do that?

his fenders did that...

We think my fenders did it. I have 6 hockey pucks on order and I plan on using my angle grinder quite a bit this weekend.

That should fix it. If you need a hand with anything, let me know.

i say cut 2/3 of what you have left before the bend, then bumpstop from there. give youself a little bit of extra clearance, as the stock bumpstock will compress also. Hit me up when you are doing it, ill swing by and help

Greg, I think I am going to do that. I need more room up there. I think 2 hockey pucks per side, and about 2" of cutting make it better.

be careful how high you cut the drivers side, you have a washer bottle in that fender.

Front fenders are now 1.5-2" higher. They came out really well. I am going back out to clean up the rears now. I'll try to get some pics up later on.

nice man, should be good to go now.

mbogosia

Hopefully. I am still going to add 2 hockey pucks to each side to be safe. It is getting old tearing my fenders and tires up when I wheel.

Nice rig. You also need to make some radial cuts on the front innner pinch seem and hammer that thing up out of the way. That will cut some tires too.

And, you can cut a pool noodle in half to stuff in the back of each front fender. Help keep the shape of the front fenders, and will keep mud and water out of your door hinges so they dont... Sqeeeek... :D

good ideas...i forgot about the noodle haha
