well i went to autozone to pick up a few things, and i passed by an air horn setup that looks like the ones you see in quadratec, and ive seen and heard them before, so i picked it up and bought it, it was $31 and some change, its called a "blazer horn".
my question is, is this a good set up or not? ive heard mixed opinions on if they are cheap or not, it came with 2 horns, a compressor, the air lines, a splitter, and a relay. ive wanted one of these since i bought my xj because im sick of people cutting me off, so i wanted to be able to teach them a lesson. but im just not sure if i bought one that is too cheap or too small to make it not even worth it...
thanks in advance,
Chris

I think you live too far North on the East coast to run air horns. If you do run them, just make sure you watch an episode of NASCAR every weekend. I think that'd help you fit in with the other members of the mis-located Southern crowd up there in MA.

just watch where u mount an air horn, the cheapies tend to rust easily, so keep it in a dry spot.

Why don't you listen to it before you install it?
If it's not loud enough...
give it to someone with a riding mower.

I have some small plastic air horns on mine, $17 on sale at harbor freight. They are planty loud enough, don't rust, lightweight, inexpensive, came with pump, and I mounted them on my roof (pump and all). The only problem is when they get debris in them (mud) then the won't work...I currently only have one working.

i have em mounted where my airbox used to be, only i run 3 trumpets, i had a new set, and my old blazer had a set in it when i got it, so i combined em and now its pretty damn loud, for cheapies theyre alright, you have thew same setup, its louder then the stock horn, but no semi truck blast go here for some funny ass vids of real airhorns..http://www.hornblasters.com (http://www.hornblasters.com/)
