I have a 93 cherokee, will the transfer case of an 86 bolt up?

what kind of transfer case is each? also what kind of transmission is on each?

Probably not. While the mounting stud pattern is the same for pretty much all NP tcases (derived from the D300, as I recall...) the spline count was changed in 1989/1990/1991 (depending upon transmission...) from 21 splines to 23 on the transmission output shaft.

I'd count to make sure, at least, if you have the transfer case available.
