I'm trying to get the tube monster on the road Friday for Moab.
Anyone wanna change a water pump, put CTM's in some alloy's and install, and put 70mm restictors in my goddamn never ending hassle Fox's? :D
Anytime from now till Thursday. I'll make it worth your while.

The Red is fantastic. If it's not gone well before I leave, I'm going on record about how NAXJA is just a bunch of lightweights posers. I'm not bringing beer back from Utah this time. :D
The rig is getting very cllose. A big thanks to RobertF for doing the water pump and changing out the front shafts.

I wanted to thank RobertF for hanging out a few nights and taking care of the wrenching that I needed to get done. I can't tell you how much time you saved me!

PS: The shocks are working better, the power steering pump went silent, I've broken all the shafts, and the front of the engine still squeels. :D

Both broke at the ears. Both times it took out the stub bearings and the spindles were too chewed to reuse.
I thought the whole idea behind hubs was to help prevent this kind of thing. What's funny is that everyone here uses various other than Warn hubs on the premise that the Warn Premiums suck.
Apparently, I have the only indestructable set in Moab. :D

Yukons. I got a set of Superiors overnighted, if I break the last of the Yukons, I'll try those. I'm going to get a set of the 300M's when I get back.
Santa says that you have been having a hard time keeping up with his sleigh.
Santa's sleigh got weight reduction surgery the other night. What he took out weighs more than my entire rig. :D

I was thinking the same thing, but I feel better knowing that Ron was running Yukons.
Ron, I think if you simply switch to Superiors (or Warn or Alloy) you'll eliminate the problem.

No. Not yet.
I guess this is the correct 'HELP' thread though. Half of my sh!t showed up in Vegas on Monday AFTER I had already come back to LA. So I am begging anyone who is coming back from Moab to pick it up for me.
Hopefully next week I will have the grand majority of the parts and I will start playing with the UPS scale here at work.

My wife was in vegas all week she's coming back tonight. If I would have been keeping track of this thread I would have seen that post.
Well if all else fails I am only 2 an a half hours outside of vegas and i wouldn't mind the drive, hell I'd even trade you all your parts for that piece of a 44 you have hangin around under your junk now :D
Serious though you need a courier you got my cell.

Andy, are you back in Vegas? I thought you were in Moab. If you are back in Vegas, That would be great if you could pick up that stuff and hand it off to some poor unsuspecting SoCal member coming through from Moab.
Thanks Ben, I will keep that in mind.

You have a PM. Thanks!
I got a set of Superiors here. How the hell did I end up with Yukons to begin with? :D
We ran Pritchett yesterday. The buggy guys have cleared ALL of the rocks from the bypass waterfall at Rockpile, making it a winch obstacle. Wyane is the only other guy to even try driving it. 35" Creepies, and his rig is pretty light. He grenaded his rear drive shaft slip yoke at the yoke.
I crawled it. For effect, I stopped half way up, and hung out for a few pictures. :D

I am working on it. I should have the XJ gutted for the most part this weekend and I will try to get the AC out as well. The rear hatch and bumper will come off this weekend as well :D
Thanks to Andy Steiner, he is coordinating my parts in Vegas and will be handing them off to Rollins later this weekend. I will pick them up on Monday.
Remi, call me about getting that receipt for your Oakleys arranged on Monday night. Paul, we'll start the 'special' thread on Tues ;)
