backspacing question?

would 4.5 be too much bs im gettin ready to buy a set and dont want them to be bad backspacing tia

I believe the stock back spacing is 5" if that helps. The rims I have are 3.75" or some thing like that, with 32x11.5" tires and they do not stick out much.

4.5 will (depending on tire choice, and size) come way to close to the rear leaf springs. I have the 3.75 bs on mine with 32's and have no issues.

Probably depends on the tires. If you're running little stock tires, you might be able to get away with it, but it's hard to know. With stock wheels and 30x9.5s, my tires come awfully close to my control arms.

Stock BS is 5.25" - I wouldn't expect you to have any problems with 4.5" BS although you do need to realize you will be putting more stress on the unit bearings with the added weight of the tires as well as their moving the tires out farther.
