Hello Sierra Chapter Members,

The Sierra Chapter is looking for a place to call home in the Fresno Area.

Purpose:
To have a a centralized location where we can work on our rigs, meet for monthly hang outs/meet and greets, meet prior to going on runs, or just shoot the sh*t.

If any one has a place we can call home, please let us know!

Sounds like a good idea to me. I'm in Merced but I definitely don't have the room here for any activities. I'd love to participate if a location can be found though. Maybe one of the Madera folks has a nice chunk of ranch type property?

Hmmm...

OK, here's the deal. I'm always willing to party & my jeep brethren are more than welcome, but our lives seem to get really busy at times. I doubt that we could host a meet & greet on the same weekend every month. I propose we plan one & see how it all works out.

Time permitting I would like to meet some of the fellow jeepers out there. But, I don't have the room to host anything at this time.

Lets have a vote, what day would be good of the week and take it from there.

Sat. afternoons would be best. That'll give people time to work / play with their Jeeps & we can BBQ after that. Right now I'm thinking Jan. 31 would work for us, but I'll have to verify the dates with my social planner...

Looks like Feb. 7 will have to be the day. Bring your rigs & your party hats. The BBQ will be grillin & the fire pit will be cracklin.

Damn, I just noticed Mr. Muck is going snow wheeling that same weekend. That'll be a good time for sure & the wife has said she needs to see snow! We'll see how this plays.

That's the night of the big Crab Cioppino in Turlock, which is a big date night for the wife and me so that's out. But hey, if anyone wants to go on a snow run this Saturday with Mid Valley 4-Wheelers out of Merced, let me know.

Just letting everyone know that this isn't happening this weekend of the 7th. Too much stuff going on. We'll see what develops after the KOH race the end of this month...

Oops, forgot to check back here. Would have missed the 7th if it did happen...

My schedule is different every week and no particular day is better than any other. Pick a day and I'll try to make it.

Have a question....WHat do I need to do to become a member of this Chapter. am pretty new to the jeep scene and just put my 89 XJ through its first bit of carnage with me. (rolled it on HWY 50) Should be road worthy again in about a week. I am stationed at Travis AFB so a little on the Northern side to most of yall but willing to make trips. Thats what Leave is for. Already a Paying Member of NAXJA just waiting on the paperwork to go through. Holiday Weekend and all.

In Madera off of Ave. 7. We're basically half way between Madera & Firebaugh.

It's looking like the next possible time would be middle of next month. As the time gets closer we'll firm up the date.

To join the chapter you join NAXJA. Membership in NAXJA will automatically get you membership in the chapter...

Sweet Deal!! Now i just gotta get "Betsy" (inherited name from previous owner still finding a name for her) up to par. I think i am in need of some schoolin. I can drive a hmmvv, stryker, APC, plus several other vehicles, but this XJ has quirks that are beyond my comprehension until i get her where she works the best.
