Always wanted a Comanche, found one at a junk yard in Cheyenne.
91 Shortbed, 4cyl, 5 speed, 2 wheel drive. Body is rough, going to take my 91 Cherokee drivetrain, interior parts and body parts to build it into 4.0, AW4, four wheel drive. Paid $400.00 for it. :shocked:

If you need a hand, give me a call. I live 15 mins away, in Mead.
I think you will need to change out the wiring harness also.

I will do that, Thanks. I am going to swap everything over from the doors forward, truck does not have A/C and has a plain jane interior. The XJ I have has nice bucket seats and dash.

Have not decided, don't know if I should make the Comanche or my 98 Cherokee the DD.

So.... What's with the engine in the bed? Did ya go to the J.Y. for the engine and come home with an MJ bonus?

Engine is a 351 Windsor for my 84 F250, seen the MJ there before but they did not want to sell it, they only had two and wanted to keep them for parts, so had to sweet talk the owner into selling the MJ.
