Axle help

Ok so I am buying another xj. My current xj has the non disco hp 30, and the new one has a hp disco front axle. What needs to be done in order for it to work?? Also the new one has a NP231 and the old one has a 242, will the driveshafts from the 242 work for the 231???

Drive shafts will work I think. Can you look at them and measure them? Not to hard to do, unbolt and measure them off the rigs.

As for the disco front, if they have the same gears, swap axels.
