That's two digs at me today Dennis. What's up with that? :dunno:
Funny thing - I looked at a guest house for rent a few years back. You go through the front door and look to your left. There was the toilet. No walls, no curtain, just BAM...toilet. And next to the toilet was the refrigerator. So you could grab a bite to eat while taking a dump.

I never thought about putting paper towels in the bathroom...
maybe the P/O was a fattie, and needed the extra square feet while whiping...
that being said, id rent that bathroom in a heartbeat if it had a 2 car secure garage

Oh crap... now I have to redecorate my bathroom... such marvelous ideas they had!! It all ties in sooooo well! I especially appreciate the painted tassles on the tub. Well, good luck on the house shopping! You might find better than that if you try really hard. Staying in the RB area?

Man Mike you should have seen my house before I bought it.
It smelled like dog pee and dead animals with a mildew afterthought.
It looked about as bad.
Remember, you are buying the location and that's all that matters. The rest you do as you please with over time.

Yeah, well, I'm with Lou, there are some places we'll just pass on. Too much work :D.
We've got 8 places on our list right now that don't have a bathroom that makes us want to throw up, and we like the location. We aren't totally un-realistic though. There's one really like, really nice size, good location, but the color of the front of the house DOES make us want to puke. Paint is a no big.
You guys need to move to east county.
and commute to work? no thanks :D

Mike whatever you decide just have the check book ready, in the 3 mons that I've been home in my new house. We've painted the outside, replaced two sliding glass doors, front door, 2 windows, sewer line going into the house, a plumber on a sunday to fix my mistake. And now I wonder why nothing ever gets done on my Jeep. Hopefully this year will bring me more luck

Good luck with the search and like it's been said houses demand more money than jeeps it seems. I cant remember a month in the last 4 years we did not have some thing break or need replacing. Do your self a favor and get some of those non jeep tools and a couple books on home repairs. I can't imagine the money I have saved fixing stuff our self

UPDATE: Everyone cross their fingers for the wife and I. We put it an offer tonight on a place that looks VERY promising. Should have a response on Saturday. This is our 6th offer we've written up, and probably house number 70 that we've seen. It's a tough market.
Sumpin you guys might be interested in. There's a double gate on the side of the house next to the garage for "RV parking"

That's where the Jeep will go. Even a door that goes right into the garage. Woot!

Good luck man!

Not sure what you mean by dirt. That's all paved concrete in the pic. There is grass in the back yard. Just not where the RV parking is on the side.

I feel that. We are on around a dozen offers, well over a hundred looked at. I wouldn't be so upset by it if we were lowballing, but we've put in offers well over asking and still been beat out.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Just must be the brightness of the pic and the grass along the edges. Concrete is even better yet.
Just dont whack that AC condensor when pulling in and out.

Our first offer was a lowball. After we found out we were beat by 30K over asking. We stopped doing that. Haven't gotten beat out on any other offer yet. They're still out there. The ones on the banks books take a long time to hear back on them. This one is not on the bank, so that's why were hearing back soon. WOOT!
Good luck to you guys too!

Yup. concrete! Totally ready to go. There's some weeds just growing out of the cracks there. There's even concrete planks out on the front grass/lawn to drive on so the grass don't get messed up.
Not too worried about the AC, there's plenty of room in there. It's huge. Unless I go to full width axles on 15" wide tires. But yeah, maybe I can put a flag on the corner of it so I know where it is hehe.
