Keep an eye on the weather- looks like it could get pretty ugly.

I just did that trail on the 2nd of September, awesome trail. Have fun getting up the first rock obstacle, almost rolled mine...
Weather at the time wasn't too bad, rather nice actually. It should be a pretty good run now with the aspens changing colors.

I'm game if you think I can make it stock, sounds a little iffy.

Then my answer would be no, you're rig isn't ready for Grizzly Lake, and especially not Iron Chest.

Don't take it the wrong way, it's about getting you up and down the trail with out damage, breakage, or injury. Neither of these trails is very friendly toward stock rigs. Iron Chest requires 33's and 4.5" of clearance. Grizzly isn't as bad, but even well built rigs can get into trrouble by taking a bad line.
There are few things worse than finding a broke down, stuck stock rig on a trail that the driver should never have been on in the first place...one of them is being the driver of the broke/stuck/ill-equiped rig.

hey, 29" is just 4" away from 33 :D
It's alright, there are plenty of other trails.

It's amazing what a few inches will do.
