bent control arm mount

I just bought a 92 xj the motor is good the body is good every thing is good except for the front end. It appears whoever had it before me hit something pretty hard right on the lower control arm mounting bracket[the right side that is welded to the axle], the bracket is bent and looks like it is shifting the axle to the left. What I,m wondering is do I try to get a new axle or do I take it somewhere to cut the bracket off and weld a new one on?

cut it off and weld a new one on. the axle shouldnt shift side to side unless there is something wrong with the track-bar or track bar mounts
