Ok, so its not actually off my property yet, but I got a deposit on it! The ol' 244 turbo is pending sale and I got some money in the pocket for it already! Hopefully finalizing things on it this weekend and the guy will pick it up. It feels good to be done with it. Even though I of course lost a lot of money on it, i no longer have to hyper extend my knees while stooping over to work on it and flog the thing around the lawn every time it needs to be mown! Here's to a vehicle collection that consists of only jeeps (and a project street truck) :cheers:

I just sold my first truck. Sad to see it leave, but I wasn't doing anything with it, so off it went. How much you gettin out of the Volvo?

I only got 250 for it. I paid 2 for it and sunk about 8 more in it. Oh well, just like with your truck it was just sitting and i wasn't going to do anything with it. I'm glad to see it go.

I got rid of a 69 willys wagon [pre waggoneer name], realize now it had a Buick 350 that I massaged with a 69 GS intake, edelbrock 4 bbl, mallory ingition plus a set of headers and dual exhaust. Good runner but the floor was rusting out faster than I could keep up with it. Now I also realize it had D44's front and rear with a locker in the back, t400 tranny and spicer20 transfer case, frame was good, body was good, it was ex-military and had the numbers in the engine compartment, from the NY National Guard. NOW I can kick myself knowing what I gave away just to get it out of the driveway. Got it for free the same way and sunk about $1200 for new gas tank, tires, power tailgate rebuild, did run the snot out of it for 2 years though... Live and learn...
