Those, my friend, are not 2x4s....
They are Mexican pallet jacks.

I will admit to doing something a little stupid...
My neighbors complained to the county code enforcement people about my MJ being up on jackstands while my friend and I rebuilt the D30. So I got a nasty letter and had to move it indoors. Spent all weekend cleaning out the garage and didn't feel like reinstalling the axle half-finished only to have to take it out again. So, I took my cherry picker, chained it to the winch bumper, and drove the entire contraption into the garage.:scared:
It worked out surprisingly well. :worship:

You know, I was just underneath that Jeep this weekend too, since I had to move it into storage to make room in the garage... it seems to be doing quite well.
I used a different formula for repairing the floor in the MJ though.

I seem to remember moving someones Jeep, sans rear axle, with a floor jack under the gas tank....and the front axle driving.
I also remember working on someones rear axle in a quarry with the Jeep supported only by 2 hi-lifts.
Hmmmm

Dont talk about Skanky like that!
the best part of that whole thing was the way the axle got rotated back into position...
Just put it in reverse and hit it!

That's how they keep the boats balanced down in the caribbean, freaked me out the first time I saw it... It's alright normally, but after a hurricane it can look like a bunch of dominoes fallen over...http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k269/oz_hole/mypics771.jpg
