WTT Cherokee for wrangler/CJ

I have the wrangler bug. Looking for a CJ up through TJ. Main things I am looking for are that it be smogable and that it have at least a 4.0 in it. This is my posting from craigslist.
I have a 91 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 5 speed AC works and has a clean title. KC offroad lights, CD player. It has a 5.5 inch lift with 33 inch tires, Within the last 20k miles I have replaced the Clutch, motor mounts, transmission mount, upper and lower ball joints both sides. Break hoses, Rear axle for a stronger one(8.25 29 spline equivalent to a dana 44), regeared both axles to 4.10's, replaced water pump, radiator, starter. Installed rock sliders, winch bumper, control arm drop brackets(improve ride quality). It currently has 212K on the clock, that isnt the true milage though, I did not change the speedo gear when I installed the larger tires and gears. I estimate the ture mileage to be around 200K. I am looking for either a CJ,YJ, or TJ I dont care if it is lifted or not, just looking for a new project. $4000 obo. NAXJA discount taken at counter

That's kind of a bummer....though I don't really blame ya...as soon as I can afford a half way decent YJ, I think the XJ is gonna go buh-bye as well....unless, of course, I win the lottery and can afford to support 3 vehicles....but not holding my breath for that one. =)

Its got a custom cup holder to lol used to be one of those POS's that hang on the window, got tired of spilling my drink every time I rolled down the window. Sence this picture I have cleaned all the seats and carpet, and added a spray on bed liner to the trunk area. Also comes with full size spare on new black steelie

Well I have seen this on here for a couple weeks now and I just had a couple questions. Not really in the market for a already built Jeep, more of a stocker, but hey it never hurts to ask. First off what is the lift consisted of?? When you say as is for 3500 is that with the winch and all that stuff??

Rough country nittro 9000 shocks not pretty but still in good condition (stained hawaiian red dirt red)

Unknown trac bar(came from karma thread)

Need to vent for a sec
So this guys comes to take a look at the Jeep this weekend he drives it and likes it. We agree on $3800 only thing is he has a check, I say I'm not comfortable with that so we agree just to get together on monday so he can go to the bank. He calls sunday says hey I can wire transfer the money to your bank. That'd be awesome I say so I look up the instructions for my bank and it only accepts them during buisness hours so we are back to mondays plan.

So he comes to get it yesterday with his "Friend" same guy that came on saturday, I begin to show him the last few things about it and the spare parts that I have for it. His friend is looking around I walk away for a second and come back and He's all I'm not feeling comfortable with it. Im thinking WTF he goes it needs some work his buddy says in looks like the bushings on the leaf springs are cracking, the ball joints are shot and so on. May be its just me, but if it aint broke I aint fixing it, I just replaced the ball joints less than 6k miles ago how ihs buddy can say they are bad just by looking at them is beyond me. So then the lowballing begins I tell him 3500 is the lowest I wanna go he says that isnt enough so Im like what are you trying to get out of it he says to lower the price enough so that he can put a new lift on it. In my mind thinking take you money and shove it. At this point I'm done he's like let me talk to my friend some more and I'll get back to you. One last time I ask for an offer he says 3k. I tell him to have a nice day.

I'd like to see what kind of jeep that's built he gets for $3,000. You know I may sell it for 3k, but it wont be to that douche bag.
