For those with Novak shifter & NP242

Did the Novak shifter assembly make shifting into 2WD any easier? The Np242 is notoriously bad for not wanting to shift into 2WD and I'm wondering if it's maybe just from worn linkage mounts and bushings. With Novak, it's solid, so I'm wondering if it'd be easier.

I too had the same issues and replaced the stock shifter with the Novak unit. It works great and shifts smooth. The install can be a little tricky getting the shifter handle bent so you can get the full range of motion within the stock gate.
