Can I get any info that's available at this point about the Flog? I'm seriously trying to make it, to meet some of y'all at least. The MJ won't be done in time, but I'd still like to drive it down there for the weekend anyways.

Also, in a former life, I used to be a chef......I'm willing to volunteer my culinary services for the weekend:chef:

Anybody coming from the east that I might be able to meet up with and convoy in with? I'm assuming I'll be coming via I85, most of the way at least (?)

I'm still trying to get mine together...hehe got all the parts so maybe this weekend...

First weekend in Nov...still thinking about doing State Line although I did get a PM from YellowXJ that says from there place it's only about a 30 min drive to Davis Creek Road..and if we want we can camp at their place...will have showers and bath by then in the shop...If we think we want to go that route..I need to know soon cause he has limited access to the net so I need to PM him soon.

Hey kids I just got internet yesterday full time...YIIPPIIEE. So my little slice of heaven is getting more civilized. :)

Your all welcome to camp at my shop for the Flog...I know its a few minutes out of the way but the good point is that we should have my workshop set up, bath rooms should be brand new clean still, and you can hit the ABC in murphy on the way here from the trails...depending on how hard a ride you had...

I would not be offended at all if we stayed at the stateline campground either...or crawfords....

and I want to get lots of video of the rides too...


and I have a spare seat in the front of my xj...you might have to arm wrestle my 7 year old daughter for it

Actually yea but not what it was intended for. LOL! Go Figure! My friend Andy, was at the crawl on friday, lost 3rd in his DD. So we put it in his and I'm going to rebuild the one he had.

Building is done on the outside :) soon the finish grader will be here and I'll have to get some gravel in for the parking lot, etc. I'm heading out back with the chain saw now to work on some more trail...

and now my jeep is high centered on a log at the front axle and cannot back up hill to get myself clear...and michelle has her trail jeep keys with her...hmmm...so I cant winch myself...hmm...its really not that steep a hill...atleast I finished the loop I was working on...I cant wait to really go riding again!!!! My place is at 4820 Murphy Highway, Mineral Bluff Ga. its about 30 min from my shop to the road up to trail one. Its about 30 minutes from there up to Upper 2...depending on how you drive. But I'll camp where ever you do. Its free at my place.

hey, if some one could PM me an address of somewhere to stay with some of ya'll, whether its campin or whatever (just no motels cause i cant afford that; im in college) i really want to go if i can get the weekend off. im new to the NAXJA and would love to meet some people face to face. i wont be able to wheel my rig due to my rear end being screwed up but i can bring it down and hang out and if anyone has room i can ride spotter. just let me know. as of right now i have it down for nov. 2-5 let me know if it changes. but i hope to make it down since i only live 2-3 hours from tellico, TN. thanks guys. i appreciate it.

2 weekends ago me and my bud took my XJ and our 74 bronco down to Mtn. City Tenn to the off-road park and blew out some bearings. so while i was out of town my buddy replaced 4 of the bearings in the rear end but the rear end still screams going down the road starting around 25 or 30 mph. so i need to get back under it and see whats going on. but if i cant fix it im looking for dana 44's (anywhere between Roanoke Va. to Knoxville Tenn.) for the front a rear anyways. so one way or another itll get done. im really tryin to come to that weekend. if i can come do you guys knowof somewhere i can stay thats cheap or free or something. i can always sleep in the back of my rig. thanks for hollering back at me

well I got the sticking throttle problem solved...now still got to find the damn rear seal for the transmission and exhaust I will be good....Ohh yeah and I have to put the tow hooks on...that out to be fun...I never did get the bumper back on the other jeep after I put the brackets on it:(

sounds good. thanks for offerin to let me stay at ur place. as of right now ill be down to hang out and finally meet some of ya'll instead of knowin u by an on-line forum name. if i cant get that rear end fixed by the time i get down there i might get that rear off u; just let me know how much u want for it. right now i am just runnin stock gears in the rear end; so it aint anythin special.

I've got an 8.25 w/ 3.55 gears on the ground already...I dont know anything about the brakes on it or if it will directly swap in for a d35...
