Sorry, I just wanted to get one photo posted. How the heck do you do it?
It's a cool shot of the Colorado State Flag balloon and the snow covered Elk Mountains.

Yep. Shot it Sunday morning when I was leaving the BalloonFest.
Been trying for the last 4 years to get a shot like this. I just wish the balloonist put some more heat on to get it a little higher so it's above the saddle between Capitol Peak, left, and Mount Daly.
I thought the Number 13 was more lucky than not.
Thanks Dallas XJS for posting this for me. I owe you one.

What was the equipment?
Nikon D1H and a 20-year-old 75-150. It's a good camera and the lens is sharp.
That really is a great shot.
Thanks. Looking to sell it so I can buy some new gear and get my good 80-200 fixed.

Hey Pablo, is the snow up high going to melt so we can run Pearl Pass one last time this year?
Hope to see you in Moab.

I don't know if the snow was that deep. I don't know if anyone has run Pearl or Scofield but I know Taylor is clear.
I'll drive up there in a day or so. It supposed to be clear for the next week.

I may head up next weekend. I have to make up my mind on how I am going to run it. I like to run from Taylor Park up over Taylor Pass and have lunch in Ashcroft, then head back up over Pearl Pass.
The only hassle is that it makes for a very long day. I might head to Buena Vista Friday after work and crash in the Jeep. Then get an early start in order to get back to Loveland by midnight.
Anybody interested?

I have to work, but I could meet you in Ashcroft for lunch.
PM and let me know about what time that is.
