Well which side of Wildcat have you gone to? There's the side just past Sany towards Mt Hood, then theres the side closer to Estacada. But the Gravel bowl your talking about sounds like the Estacada side. Dvipercop and myself have been up to wildcat many times. There is maybe 1 or 2 trails up there worth hitting, most of the stuff dead ends in a turn around. If you want to go wheel out that way you should head up to Goat Mt. There's a spot a buddy of mine showed me off of Hilockburn Rd. that's got some sweet tank traps.

Turning east on wildcat form firwood, maybe 8-10 miles? Up about twice again as far as the mopar junkyard www.wildcatmopars.com

West would take you to eagle creek and eventually estacada.

I thought I heard that wildcat is closed because of too much littering. Just heard that from a friend yesterday

It has been closed for a few weeks now. But it looked like they were doing some road construction. They had filled in all the ditches on the side of the road with some big rocks. Don't know how long it'll be before they re-open it

Like PoSxJ said, we've both been up there to many times to count. Not really many trails to hit, but there are definately spots you could pose on(Matt). :D I work at the base of the mountain, just off of 211 on Eagle Creek Rd and have noticed ALOT less traffic since they put the barriers up.

The rock quarry is still open. But theres not much wheelin up that way. Goat Mt. has some good wheelin, it's up about 30 mins past estacada. If anyones interested just let me know.

Nothing to hard, rocks, mud, and hill climbs. I only go up there in the winter when there is snow. The majority of it is closed down and blocked off by huge fallen trees that you couldn't get around last time I checked. The East side of it is for sure closed down, that was where the good wheeling was. i know one trail up there that takes you to the tip top of the mountain, at night it is an incredible view. You can see almost 360 degrees in a full circle! That trail is mostly rocks and a little mud. Does anyone know if the West side is still legal?

I haven't been up on the westside in a while. Are you refering to the side by Colton Highschool? I heard they were doing a bunch of stuff up that side (logging and such)

The spot I have been up resently is up Hillockburn road. I have our camping/wheelin spot marked in my gps. I think you can put gps coordinates into google map and it'll give directions, but I'm not sure.

We may just have to set up exploration trip up there.

The side I go up is at the end of wildcat mt. road. The part I am reffering to that is closed is off of 26 up a long windy gravel rd. I have never heard of Hillockburn road, I will have to google it. If you want to head up there I am down.

I think I have been up goat mt once just to help someone who was stranded, didn't get to play. I have heard that place is pretty fun though.
