my lift and stock steering issues

Hi,

Been away from NAXJA and the XJ for way too long. Anyways I want to fix a problem I've had for some time. The TRE joint (where the tie rod and drag link meet) is contacting and rubbing with the steering stabilizer bolt on the stock d30r mounting brackets. I don’t know if anyone else has had this issue or how it may be related to poor castor angles or the suspension lift in some manor. It is at about five in" lift with Clayton long arms.

I do have a front d44r out of a bronco that has the removable radius arm stuff that I want to build eventually just not now.

So what are my options to fix this issue? Would a tie rod flip kit address this issue? If it did would I have issues keeping my stock trac bar angles parallel with the drag link to prevent bump steer? I’ve been away so long I don’t know what my current options are. Who makes the tie rod flip kit I've heard of? Hope you guys can help.

Anyways here are some pics of my jeep currently after addressing all kind of frame rail cracks mainly steering area (lots angle and plate) and after replacing a 250k mi I-6 engine with a 50k one.

Man, what's with all the pics?

You're problem can be that castor has been eliminated to get the correct pinion angle, rotating the top of the axle forward and causing the clearance problem. Or the drag link can be slightly pushed back from hitting rocks, in which case you could pull the drag link back out. Or the lower control arms could be long enough to push the axle forward and cause the clearance issue.
