Meet and Greet? Local Wheelin Trip?

Any dates for Winterfest? Elgin/Schaumburg/Crystal Lake/Mchenry/St.Charles areas meet and greet? My new house is a good mid point (Pingree Grove). I know there are a couple of you guys out this way. Maybe meet and take off for Cliffs for a day. Let me know interest level I am trying to plan a trip with a few local friends but in our group most have sold or permanently dismembered their rigs in some way and I want to try and grow the group.

Yeah I am trying to squeeze something in before xmas cause I'm planing on going to Vegas after Xmas which will be squeezing the funds for 4 wheeling, but yeah a meet and greet whenever you like, I'd like to spark some more interest, I know I've seen posts from at least a couple guys in the Elgin area.

I like that little bar in Pingree Grove.
They have awesome burritos.
I have proposed a few M & Gs there but they have all been no shows.

Hey I'm down..... I live south though. I'm in Chatham 5 miles south of Springfield, I go to Southern Illinois University Carbondale.

I'll be in Springfield from Jan to July though on an internship at the State Journal Register for photojournalism.

I personally would like to get some wheeling in, but my weekends are hectic and I need a decent amount of time so I can get off.

The cliffs..... is that to much for an xj with 3.5" lift and 31" LTBs? it's getting a front locker for Xmas :)

Thats about where I'm at and I don't have a prob at the cliffs. Some people here don't like to go there b/c its pretty muddy and I've seen some trail damage (some hillbillies broke their small Toyota p/u in half once). Its not a terribly large place, and usually its slow going. But its fun and close to me so I like it.

Pingree Grove is reasonably close to Elgin (I had to look it up on Google Maps). That's only about a 30 minute drive from me, so I'd be in for a beer or four.

Hey man I see this post is from a while back. Did you guy's make any plans to go to Cliffs? My XJ is in need of a T case rebuild, but my Grand Wagoner(Full Size) is ready. I am always looking for some wheelin partners for the Cliffs.
