Anyone going from Santa Barbara to SoCal soon?

Trying to pick up an axle for my Jeep, not sure when I can get up to Santa Barbara as my schedule is looking pretty full.

If anyone's going that way I'd be glad to throw you some gas money to bring the axle by Simi, Van Nuys, or to the Xmas party.

If I can get the axle for you and get it to Ventura, maybe you could meet me there? I have to find out about the party too... Oh yeah, STILL have that little box with the re-boot CD's for your laptop. Do you still have my #?

I'm trying to not drive my XJ too far due to the various leaks I've got (axle included) so I wasn't going to take it to Hueneme unless I needed it for cargo space, Aarons is much closer to home.

I have a buddy that is moving this whole week, from Simi to Ventura so if you can get the axle to Ventura, there should be no probs throwing it in his empty truck to Simi on one of the runs.

How soon do you need?

It looks like I will be going to Paso Robles to pick up an ATV in the next few weeks. I have a large ATV trailer I could load it on. I will most likely be leaving early on a Saturday morning to go to PR and then could make a stop in SB if someone can help me load. I am not a young as I use to be.

Chris, I could probably get it there Friday or Saturday...would that be ok? Otherwise, John, I miiight be able to get it all the way to you in Simi, but easier for me to go just as far as Ventura. I'll be helping my buddy move from simi to ventura so if you can get it to ventura I can probably get it to you soon, my buddy actually will be living in Ventura and working at Aeroenvorinment in simi so he could probably be enticed to throw it in his Ranger and bring it to work if you can meet him there, not sure exactly where that is in relation to you but much closer than SB I would presume.
