does anybody know if americas tire will mount 33x12.50's on a 7 inch rim? I know its not really tech but ive searched and cant find an answer.

They are closed, and I would have to leave early in the morning to drop my jeep off to them to have the tires installed so calling them in the morning is no good. I was just wondering if anybody else has had a problem getting a shop to mount a 12.50 on a 7 inch rim.

not safe to do that, which is why most shops won't do it. just get a set of used 15x8's w/ better backspacing and you'll be happy u did.

How is it not safe? You wont slip a bead.... the only bad part is the tire will wear more in the middle.

i have seen a few torn sidewalls wheeling on a fat tire on a skinny wheel. I would just get a cheap set of wheels. I doubt they will mount them for you.

I don't see why they wouldn't , they mounted my 13.5 inch wide tires on 15x8's, which is the same difference as 12.5 wide and 15x7s.
